Suturing Technique Trainer
This tissue plate pictured below is being used by a plastic surgury resident to practice suturing techniques. The plate features SynTissue™ brand synthetic human skin, subcutaneous fat, and skeletal muscle, with embedded patent vein and artery segments. Such models are used to replace live animals and preserved human tissues in training applications.
