Deployed Peripheral Stent
This image shows a femoral lesion (calcified peripheral plaque) that has been treated with a stent. The lesion was excised from a SynDaver™ brand synthetic human arterial model embedded in a skeletal muscle vascular phantom. These models also enable subcuticular suturing, cannulation, and vascular anastomosis under physiological flow conditions.
