SynDaver™ Labs' sixth U.S. patent No 7,993,140 issued today. The patent covers the design of synthetic human body parts and the formulation of synthetic human tissues for medical device testing, surgical simulation, and clinical task training.

Jun 5, 2011 - New Renal / Urinary System
SynDaver™ Labs has developed a complete urinary system for use with the SynDaver™ Synthetic Human (SSH) product line. The system includes kidneys with venous and arterial blood flow and communicating renal pelvis, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Synthetic blood transits the organ via the renal artery and vein after passing through filtration tissue.

The entire system is patent from the urethra to ureters to renal pelvis and may include both healthy and diseased tissues. Like all of our newly improved organ systems this product will be provided free of charge to existing SSH customers.



May 20, 2011 - New Human Skin Analogs
SynDaver™ Labs has begun development of a synthetic human skin analog designed specifically for use with bandages, adhesives, and cosmetics. This new tissue will feature improvements to surface energy and topography as well as working sweat glands.

May 12, 2011 - New Pediatric Organs
In conjunction with physicians at CAMLS, SynDaver™ Labs has developed new pediatric microvessels, micro-nerves, and ultra-realistic umbilicus and placenta for use in conjunction with our fetal and newborn SSH modules.

May 1, 2011 - New Micro-Anastomosis Organs
SynDaver™ Labs has developed ultra-realistic vas deferens, ureter, and prostate organs for robotic micro-anastomosis training on the DaVinci® robotic surgery system. These organs will premiere at the upcoming first annual RAMSES course in Orlando, Florida.
