Femoral Anchor Trainer
This is one of the first models designed by our engineers. It consists of a solid muscular base over a femur with a groove intended to accommodate the femoral artery. This is overlaid with skin and fat of varying thickness. The model allows engineers to test the introduction of coronary guidewires, guide catheters, and femoral puncture closure devices.
